Shipping & delivery policy.

We ship across India — every State and Union Territory — to the delivery address you enter at checkout. Consignments normally travel by surface courier. Heavier or multi-unit consignments may go by road-transport carrier instead, which is usually cheaper for the same weight and is the sensible route for dealer stock.

The consignment is booked in the name and address given on the order, so please check the delivery address before you pay. If you spot a mistake, tell us before the parcel is handed to the courier and we will correct it at no cost. Once a docket is booked, an address change becomes a re-direction request to the carrier, which it may refuse — and if it refuses, the consignment comes back to us as described under failed delivery.

Some pincodes are not served by our regular carrier, and a few are not served by any courier at all. If yours is one of them we telephone you before dispatch and offer the nearest serviceable town or an alternative carrier at actual cost. If neither suits you, the order is cancelled and refunded in full under our Cancellation Policy.

The dispatch clock starts when your payment is realised — not when the order is placed. What that means depends on how you paid:

• Paytm (UPI, card, net-banking or wallet) — realised as soon as the payment gateway confirms the transaction as successful.
• Bank transfer (NEFT, RTGS or IMPS) — realised when the money is credited to our account and matched to your order. A transfer made after banking hours, on a Sunday or on a bank holiday is credited on the next banking day.

An order whose payment is realised during business hours on a working day is normally handed to the courier within 2–5 working days. Our business hours are Monday to Saturday · 9:30 am to 6:30 pm. Payment realised after the close of business hours, or on a Sunday or a public holiday, is treated as received on the next working day. Sundays and public holidays are not working days — neither we nor the courier collect on those days.

Two things legitimately stop that clock, and in both cases we telephone you rather than let the order sit:

• The item is out of stock, or is being built and tested to your order.
• The order needs a technical confirmation before it is safe to dispatch — the pump rating in HP, single-phase or three-phase, the panel array voltage, or the cable run down the bore. A controller matched to the wrong pump is a returned parcel and a lost week for you, so we would rather spend two minutes on the phone first.

If we cannot dispatch within the window above, we tell you and give you a revised date. You may wait for it, or cancel and take a full refund under our Cancellation Policy. A delay on our side never costs you money.

Once the consignment is with the carrier, delivery typically takes a further 3–10 working days, depending on where it is going. Taken together with the dispatch window above, that is the whole picture:

What genuinely adds days, in our experience of shipping to farms:

• Out-of-delivery-area (ODA) pincodes, where the carrier runs a feeder vehicle only on certain days of the week.
• Hill, island and North-East destinations, and any route that depends on a single connecting leg.
• Monsoon flooding and washed-out roads, bandhs, strikes and local disruption.
• Festival peaks, when carrier volumes rise sharply and every hub queues.
• Verification at State check-posts and e-way bill checks in transit.

If your docket stops showing scans, call us with the number and we will raise a trace with the carrier and stay with it until the consignment moves or the claim is settled. You do not have to argue with the courier yourself; that is our job.

The shipping charge for your order is calculated and shown at checkout, before you pay, and it appears again on your GST tax invoice. Nothing is added afterwards — we will never telephone you after an order to ask for extra freight.

• Freight is charged on actual weight or on volumetric (dimensional) weight, whichever is higher. A controller inside a protective carton occupies more space than it weighs, and carriers bill for the space.
• The rate also depends on the destination pincode and on whether it is an out-of-delivery-area location.
• Where an order carries no shipping charge, the checkout shows it as ₹0 before you pay.
• Freight is part of the same supply as the goods, so it is taxed at the GST rate applicable to the product and appears on the same tax invoice.

Bulk, dealer and distributor consignments are quoted separately in writing before dispatch, because they usually move by road transport rather than parcel courier and the economics are different. Ask us for a written quotation through the quotation request, or see our dealer page for trade terms. A freight-to-pay consignment — where you settle the carriage with the transporter at the destination — is sent only where that has been agreed with you in writing beforehand.

Charges levied at the destination and outside our control are payable by the customer: octroi or any local entry charge where a municipal body still levies one, door-delivery, unloading or hamali charges asked for by a road transporter, and any demurrage or godown charge that arises because a consignment was not collected from the transport office.

As soon as a consignment is handed over we send you the carrier name and the docket or tracking number — on WhatsApp or by telephone to the mobile number on your order, and by email to the address on your order. Quote that docket number when you write to us and we can usually answer in one reply instead of three.

A freshly booked docket can take a few hours to start showing scans on the carrier’s website. A number that reads ‘not found’ on the evening of dispatch is normal; it is not a lost parcel.

It also helps to write the delivery address the way a delivery rider reads it: the village and taluka, the district, the correct six-digit pincode, and a landmark such as a bore, a society gate, a school or a shop. An address that is only a name and a district will slow a consignment down or send it back.

This is the most important clause on the page, because once it has passed there is very little anyone can do. Before you sign the courier’s proof of delivery (POD) or run-sheet, look at the outer packing:

• Is the carton torn, crushed, wet or oil-stained?
• Has it been opened and re-taped with tape that is not ours?
• Does it feel short in weight, or does something rattle inside?
• Does the number of packages match what the docket says?

If anything is wrong, do one of two things: write the damage on the POD, on the delivery person’s own copy, before you sign it — or refuse the consignment outright. Then tell us within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs of the outer carton, the courier label and the contents as you found them.

Where you can, photograph or film the sealed carton before you open it. It takes a minute and it settles a transit claim without argument.

Damage or shortage concealed inside an outwardly sound carton, and any unit that is dead on arrival, is not a transit claim. That is handled under our Refund & Return Policy, which gives you 7 days from delivery to raise it — so open and test the unit as soon as it arrives rather than at installation time weeks later.

A carrier makes a limited number of delivery attempts. Where the address is wrong or incomplete, the consignee cannot be reached on the number given, nobody is available to receive the goods, or delivery is refused for any reason other than damage recorded on the POD, the consignment is returned to origin (RTO) and comes back to us.

We tell you as soon as a consignment is marked RTO, and again when it physically reaches us. You then choose between two outcomes:

• Re-ship it. You pay the actual re-shipping freight, quoted to you in advance, and we despatch it again to a corrected address.
• Treat it as a return. A dispatched order cannot be cancelled, so once the consignment reaches us and passes inspection we refund it under the Refund & Return Policy, deducting the outbound freight already paid and the return freight the carrier charges us.

Those deductions apply only where the failed delivery was on the customer’s side — a wrong or incomplete address, an unreachable phone, or a refusal without recorded damage. If the failure was ours or the carrier’s — we keyed the address wrongly, we booked it to the wrong pincode, or the carrier never attempted delivery — we bear both legs of the freight and you receive a full refund or a free re-despatch, whichever you prefer.

If a carrier confirms a consignment as lost in transit, you are not asked to carry that loss: we re-ship or refund in full. Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method within 7 working days of approval and of our receiving your complete bank details — the detail sits in our Refund & Return Policy and our Cancellation Policy.

This policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions. It is governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Gandhinagar, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about a consignment. Nothing in it takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
