What we collect
We ask for the least we can and still do the job. A controller cannot be couriered to a farm without a name, a phone number and a full address, and a tax invoice cannot be raised without a billing name — so that is what we ask for. We do not ask for your date of birth, your Aadhaar number, your income, or anything else we have no use for.
When you place an order
- Your full name, as it should appear on the tax invoice and the shipping label.
- Your phone number — the courier calls it before delivery, and we call it if there is a query on the order.
- Your email address, if you give one. It is optional; we use it to send the order confirmation and the invoice.
- Your complete delivery address: house or village, landmark, city or town, State and PIN code.
- The items, quantities and prices in your order, and the order number generated for it.
- Whether you paid online through the gateway or chose to pay on delivery, and the payment status returned to us.
When you request a quotation
A quotation request carries your name, your company name if you give one, your phone number, your email address if you give one, the product and quantity you are asking about, and whatever you write in the requirement box. We keep it so that a person can call you back with a real price.
When you apply to become a dealer or distributor
A dealership application is a business verification, so it asks for more. Alongside your contact details — including your WhatsApp number and your designation in the firm — we collect your company name, year established, PAN, GST number, business type, turnover band, website, complete business address, district and PIN code, the districts you cover, your years of experience, whether you run a dedicated sales team, the products you want the dealership for and the quantity you expect to move — and the documents you upload to prove it: GST certificate, MSME certificate, company registration certificate, cancelled cheque, address proof, company profile, and any further document you choose to attach.
When you write, call or message us
If you contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp, we keep the number or address you used and what you sent, so that a warranty case or a service question can be picked up again later by whoever answers next. Warranty and service records are the reason we keep this — a claim two seasons from now is far easier to settle when the original conversation is still on file.
Automatically, from the web server
Like every website, our server records basic technical data when a page is requested: the IP address, the browser and device type it reports, the page asked for, and the date and time. We use it to keep the site up, to diagnose faults and to spot abuse. We do not use it to build a profile of you and we do not sell it.
