Order cancellation policy.

An order placed with Rhino Solar™ can be cancelled free of charge at any time before the consignment is handed over to the courier. There is no cancellation fee, no restocking charge and no administrative deduction of any kind.

On a pre-dispatch cancellation you get back the entire amount you paid — the price of the goods, the GST charged on them, and any shipping or handling charged at checkout. The parcel never travelled, so there is no cost for us to recover and nothing for us to keep.

• Whole order or part of it — you may drop one line from a multi-item order and let the rest ship
• No cancellation, restocking or handling charge is levied on a pre-dispatch cancellation
• Freight charged at checkout is refunded in full along with the goods value and GST
• The cancellation takes effect when we confirm it in writing, not at the moment you send it

Orders are normally handed to the courier within 2–5 working days of a realised payment, as set out in our Shipping & Delivery policy. The cancellation window is therefore short, and it closes the moment the parcel is picked up — not at the end of any fixed number of days.

Ring us. A phone call or WhatsApp message reaches us straight away; an email may sit unread until somebody opens the inbox. Use the phone first and follow it with an email so that there is a written trail on both sides.

What to tell us

• Your order number, exactly as it appears on the order confirmation
• The mobile number the order was placed with, so we can match it to the packing list
• Whether you want the whole order cancelled or only some of the items
• For a partial cancellation, the model or item that is to come off the order
• The reason, if you are willing to share it — it is optional and it never affects the refund

We reply with a written cancellation confirmation carrying your order number. Until you have that confirmation, treat the order as live. A message sent outside our business hours (Monday to Saturday · 9:30 am to 6:30 pm) is acted on at the start of the next working day; if the parcel has already been picked up by then, we will tell you so plainly and handle it under clause 03 instead.

Once the consignment has been handed to the courier, the order can no longer be cancelled. It is moving through the courier network under a docket number and we have no means of recalling it.

Refusing delivery is not a cancellation. If you decline the parcel, or it goes undelivered because nobody is reachable at the address, the courier does not write it off — it travels back to our works as a return-to-origin consignment, which can take longer than the outward journey did.

We tell you when a consignment is marked return-to-origin, and again when it physically reaches us. You then choose: a re-despatch to a corrected address at the actual freight, quoted to you in advance, or cancel and take the refund. This is clause 07 of our Shipping & Delivery policy, and a refused parcel is handled the same way.

If you cancel, the unit is inspected on arrival and the refund processed under the Refund & Return Policy as a change-of-mind return. The freight is then not refunded: the outward leg already paid and the return leg the carrier charges us are both to your account and are deducted from the amount credited back. The refund is released within 7 working days of the unit reaching us and passing inspection — not from the day you refused the parcel.

Those deductions apply only where the failed delivery was on your side — a wrong or incomplete address, a phone that cannot be reached, or a refusal with no damage recorded on the delivery sheet. Where the failure was ours or the carrier’s, we carry both legs of the freight and you get a full refund or a free re-despatch, whichever you prefer.

Practical advice from the field: accept the parcel and raise a return rather than refusing it. A delivered parcel has a proof of delivery, a date and a recorded condition; a refused parcel has none of that and is far slower for everyone to resolve.

A cancellation refund goes back to the original payment method wherever the payment rail allows it. A Paytm, UPI or card payment is reversed to the same instrument; a bank transfer is returned to the account it was remitted from. Where that rail cannot take a reversal we refund by NEFT to the account named on the order, and the account holder’s name must match the name on the order. We do not settle cancellations in cash, in vouchers or as store credit, and we do not pay into a third party’s account.

We release the refund from our end within 7 working days. Your bank or card issuer then takes its own settlement cycle to post the credit to your statement, which is outside our control. If it still has not appeared, send us your order number and we will share the payment reference so that your bank can trace it.

GST and the tax invoice

The tax invoice is raised at packing, so an order can reach us for cancellation after the invoice has been made but before the parcel is picked up. Where that has happened, the invoice is reversed by a GST credit note issued by Dazzle Robotics Private Limited under GSTIN 24AADCD2072M1ZP and emailed to you. Keep the invoice and the credit note together. If you are a registered dealer who has already claimed input tax credit against that invoice, you must reverse the credit in the return period in which the credit note is issued.

Where no invoice had been raised, there is nothing to reverse and the payment is simply returned.

Occasionally we are the party who has to cancel. When that happens we telephone you, tell you exactly why, and offer what alternatives we have before falling back on cancellation. The reasons are limited to these:

• Stock unavailable — the model is out of stock or has been superseded and no equivalent can be supplied in reasonable time
• Pincode not serviceable — our surface courier partners do not deliver to the destination, or will not carry the consignment there
• An obvious pricing or specification error in the listing — we will not ship against a price that is plainly wrong, so we cancel and refund instead
• Payment not realised — the transaction failed, was reversed by the gateway or the bank, or the transfer never landed in our account
• Details that fail verification — the delivery address or contact number cannot be confirmed, or the GSTIN and legal name on a business order do not match
• The order cannot lawfully be fulfilled, or is placed in breach of an agreed dealer or distributor arrangement

Every cancellation we make carries a full refund of everything realised, released to the original payment method within 7 working days, together with an explanation of what went wrong. We do not keep any part of the money on an order we have cancelled, and we do not charge you for a cancellation that was ours — the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 do not allow a seller to pass the cost of its own cancellation to the buyer, and we do not.

Everything above assumes a standard catalogue unit taken from stock. Some orders are not: a non-catalogue rating, a unit built or configured to your specification, or a dealer or bulk quantity that we build or procure specifically against your written approval, quotation or proforma invoice.

A made-to-order or bulk order cannot be cancelled once production or procurement has started. Once components have been committed, cut or ordered in against your approval, that material is tied to your order and the finished unit is not saleable to another customer, so we cannot absorb the cost of it.

• We state in writing, on the quotation or proforma invoice, that an order is made-to-order or built to a bulk schedule
• We also confirm the date on which production or procurement is due to start
• Before that date the free pre-dispatch cancellation in clause 01 applies in full, with no deduction
• On or after that date the committed portion of the order stands and cannot be cancelled
• An advance paid against such an order can be adjusted against future supply, but is not automatically refundable

If your requirement changes after work has begun, call us anyway. Where material has not yet been committed we will usually reduce the quantity or reschedule the delivery, and any refund is limited to that uncommitted portion. Reach us before the start date and there is nothing to negotiate — the cancellation is simply free. To open a dealer or bulk requirement, start with a quotation request.

Nothing on this page takes away any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Where those give you more than this policy does, they prevail.

If a cancellation or its refund has not gone the way this page says it should, call us with your order number and ask for it to be escalated, and send the same details by email to rhinosolarvfd@gmail.com so that the complaint is on record. We answer in writing. Anything we cannot settle between us is governed by the laws of India and is subject to the courts at Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
